Mouthpiece is THE MOST important piece of equipment for the clarinet player. Students arguably need a higher quality mouthpiece than they are typically given. So we designed our Kessler Custom Student Clarinet Mouthpiece to address their needs!

Made in the USA from a high quality plastic, we use a custom facing that is designed to be easy to play for younger players while still giving them a mouthpiece that will grow with them.

Rico H-Ligature

The Rico H-Ligature is a modern day replica of the vintage Harrison ligatures. This ligature offers great reed seal in the four corners of the reed and is very easy to use. The give good tonal flexibility and performance. Includes a plastic cap that is vented and has rubber rails so that the cap fits securely on the ligature with no chance of sliding off when stored in case.

Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on our student clarinet mouthpiece. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).

In order to protect the mouthpiece against scratches & marks when testing, we install a tooth patch before shipping. You are responsible for the condition of the mouthpiece while you are testing it. We highly recommend testing with a fabric style ligature to reduce the risk of scratching. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
