The Music Studios @ Kessler & Sons offer the most impressive assembly of professional players and teachers in the state! We don’t let just anyone teach in our shops. Instead, we insist on only the highest caliber musician in order to teach private music lessons in our Music Studio.
No Commitment
Most of our lessons do not require pre-payment or minimum lesson commitments. You schedule a recurring weekly lesson and you can cancel at any time… however, once you see the growth in your playing performance, we doubt that you will want to!

Jordan has a natural flair for making lessons fun and his enthusiasm generates the spark to help keep the student motivated. Dr. Carmella Cao
Dr. Cao earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from UNLV and currently teaches at CSN. Carmella has been a judge of both middle and high school honor band competitions and is a current member of the Henderson Symphony.

July Ivy
Professor Julie Ivy has over 20 years of teaching experience. She has a Masters Degree cum laude in Flute Performance & currently teaches music theory and ear-training at UNLV. She has played with the Nashua Symphony Orchestra, The Nevada Chamber Orchestra, The Southern Nevada Wind Ensemble, and the Nevada Symphony Orchestra. She has been a frequent judge for solo and ensemble festivals and all- state flute auditions.

Anastasia Petanova
Ms. Petanova attended and was later asked to teach at Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and UNLV. She has played Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, UNESCO in Paris, France, Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and was a soloist with the legendary Russian National Orchestra.

Dr. Lisa Melick
Dr. Melick holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts from University of Iowa and has held teaching positions at U of I in addition to holding professor of flute and instructor positions at several other universities. Dr. Melick has been a judge for CCSD honor band, Las Vegas Flute Club Young Artist Competition and National Flute Association competitions.

Rayne Ellison
Rayne Ellison is a local professional clarinetist and educator. She has over 30 years professional playing experience, playing with The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Symphony, and Opera Company, as well as the Nevada Chamber Symphony, Nevada Pops, Manhattan Transfer, Robert Goulet and others.

Svetlin Belneev
From 2011 to 2019, Mr.Belneev was a part of one of the most popular and successful shows in Las Vegas’ recent history “Celine” – starring the Canadian super-star artist Celine Dion. He is a graduate of the State Academy of Music (Bulgaria) as well as Penn State University.

Mr. Levin received his BM from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory in the John Hopkins University, his Masters from Boston University and is currently working on his doctorate in violin performance at UNLV. Greg Maldonado
Dr. Maldonado has taught private, chamber, and university for over 30 years and has performed extensively including with the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Greg is much sought after as a judge AND as an educator. He is currently a local orchestra director, professional performer, and a conductor for the LVYO (Las Vegas Youth Orchestra) as well as 2023 Chairperson of Nevada All-State Orchestra.

Lee is a registered member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas & a member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Lee taught violin as adjunct faculty for Southern Illinois University at Acarbondale and Southeast Missouri State University.

Sharon Street-Caldwell
Ms. Street-Caldwell had 6 violists and 1 violinist at all state last year and her students have been first chair multiple years. Sharon has a Bachelors of Music, is an original and current member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and a professional performer. She has been a judge at Solo and Ensemble, an adjunct at UNLV, and a music educator. She is a natural teacher!

Lee Schreiber
Lee earned a B.M. from the University of Arizona on a full ride scholarship. Since then she has devoted herself to performing and teaching music.Lee founded a general music program for preschool aged children called Musical Friends. She is also a founding member of a klezmer band named Meshuggina Klezmorim and has performed at numerous events city wide & has performed with Tim McGraw, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Elton John, and many more.

Sharon Street-Caldwell
Mrs. Street-Caldwell consistently has a high percentage of her students performing in HONOR ORCHESTRA and ALL STATE ORCHESTRA. Her students have achieved the 1st chair viola spot multiple years! Sharon has a Bachelors of Music, is an original and current member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and a professional performer. She has been a judge at Solo and Ensemble, an adjunct at UNLV, and a music educator. She is a natural teacher!

Erich Baker
Erich studied with Martha McCrory and Margaret Christy, both of whom studied under the great Pablo Casals. Erich moved to Las Vegas and began playing showrooms at hotels and eventually on to playing with the Frank Sinatra Orchestra. He has also played with Dean Martin, Johnny Mathis, Wayne Newton, Andrea Bocelli and Alicia Keyes.
