Boveda Fabric Holder – DoubleThe Boveda two-way humidification is the most trusted way to help maintain your wood instrument. Featuring a revolutionary two-way system that will absorb and release moisture to help keep your instrument in a stable environment. Critical to this system is the use of the Boveda Fabric Holder. For larger interior cases such as orchestral strings and guitar, you may want to use more than one of the Boveda packs at a time. So to facilitate this additional humidification need, the Boveda Fabric Double Holder safely stores 2 large humidifier packs at a time. These are not just for cosmetic benefit but actually improve the performance of your Boveda packs!
The double fabric holder is great for cases with larger interiors such as a bass clarinet, bassoon, cello, guitar and more. The double holder can be folded on top of itself or laid flat, depending on your case needs. For exceptionally large cases with multiple areas, such as a cello case, some players will even store 2 of the Boveda Double Holders with 2 humidification packs each, totaling 4 total packs in the case at a time.
Why use a Boveda Fabric Holder with the Humidity Pack?
The Boveda Fabric Double Holder is specially designed to extend the life and efficiency of humidity packs of the two way humidification packs. They help to regulate the release and absorption of moisture in and out of the pack so that they do not release too quickly. Think of the fabric holder as a governor for the Boveda. Boveda Fabric Holders are lined with a liquid barrier to further protect your instrument in the rare occurrence a leak-proof pack is ever punctured.
The Fabric holder is designed for 2 of the large size Boveda humidifier packs, such as the 49% RH 60 gram humidifiers.
