Using a modern square tone chamber, our Modern Classical bari mouthpiece features a quality hard rubber for a rich tone and is completely hand-faced by Dave Kessler to ensure quality and consistency. The facing is similar to a Yamaha 5C. The Modern Classical bari mouthpiece provides the player with great control and offers a flexible dynamic range.

Our Modern Classical bari mouthpiece uses an external shape that is similar to a Yamaha 5C mouthpiece. In order to provide customers with a better value, we offer several options on the included ligature. Choose from the following ligatures:

Rico H-Ligature
The Rico H-Ligature is a modern day replica of the vintage Harrison ligatures. This ligature offers good reed seal in the four corners of the reed and is very easy to use. The give good tonal flexibility and performance. Includes a plastic cap that is vented and has rubber rails so that the cap fits securely on the ligature with no chance of sliding off when stored in case.

Rovner Dark Ligature
The Rovner Dark ligature is one of the most widely used and trusted ligatures ever. With a simple, strap based design and a single screw mechanism, these ligatures provide a rich tonal depth and clean articulation with a more centered tone. The Dark ligature is an excellent symphonic performance ligature. The standard Rovner cap is of course included with it.
