Yamaha clarinets are among the most trusted intermediate clarinets in the industry. The Yamaha Intermediate Wood Clarinet family is one of the most respected intermediate clarinets on the market.

Lightly Used
This Clarinet is the Yamaha Intermediate Clarinet from the Advantage Series in the Yamaha line – the newer model YCL-400ADII 2nd Generation (click here for Yamaha product page). Fundamentally the same instrument as the standard Yamaha intermediate 450IIN clarinet, the Advantage series is designed to be used in stores for rentals and are setup in a case designed for rental/school use and durability. Offered here is a clarinet that was used as a short term rental but is otherwise in impeccable condition. We actually have a few of them that are in this mint condition. There are little to no signs of use.

2nd Gen 4xx Series Clarinets
A few years back, Yamaha modified the 400/450 series clarinets into the new 2nd Generation design. The two main changes were upgrading to leather pads and bore modification to produce a richer tone. The clarinets we are offering here are the new 2nd Gen design. Note, Yamaha does not stamp “II” behind model numbers but this is the newer 2nd Generation model. This is evident through the pads and bell bore. We also can track the serial numbers since these were already part of our system.

New Mouthpiece
We are including a NEW Yamaha 4C mouthpiece with the clarinet rather than a used one. That way you know you are getting a fresh, clean mouthpiece! The clarinet has also gone through our shop and fully serviced. This instrument will meet the same performance expectations as a new clarinet.

1 Year Shop Warranty
This lightly used Yamaha intermediate clarinet has been completely gone through in our Professional Shop to guarantee that it is in perfect setup and regulation. We also include a 1 year warranty covering pads & adjustments through our shop just like we would with a new Yamaha clarinet!
