SD20 Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece

Designed to produce and nice round tone, the new SD20 alto mouthpiece features a smaller round chamber with a more traditional facing. The chamber is reminiscent of the first Selmer Paris “Soloist” series mouthpieces. Available in alto and tenor and in only 1 facing choice, the SD20 alto is a great modern mouthpiece for balance and flexibility.

Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on the SD20 alto mouthpiece. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).

In order to protect the mouthpiece against scratches & marks when testing, we install a tooth patch before shipping. You are responsible for the condition of the mouthpiece while you are testing it. We highly recommend testing with a fabric style ligature to reduce the risk of scratching. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.

Rico H-Ligature

The Rico H-Ligature is a modern day replica of the vintage Harrison ligatures. This ligature offers good reed seal in the four corners of the reed and is very easy to use. The give good tonal flexibility and performance. Includes a plastic cap that is vented and has rubber rails so that the cap fits securely on the ligature with no chance of sliding off when stored in case.

Rovner VERSA

The Rovner VERSA replaces the old Eddie Daniels model. The ligature seals the reed on the outside edges to leave maximum vibration from the center of the reed. Includes 2 weights for the reed pressure plate, the VERSA gives a total of 6 reed contact combinations so that you can dial in the sound that you want. VERSA ligatures give a characteristically rich tone. Includes a fitted plastic cap.
