Designed for Jazz!

The new Selmer Spirit Alto mouthpiece is designed for Jazz playing. Using a well designed raised baffle that transitions into a medium round chamber, the Spirit alto gives excellent response and projection with a balanced tonal range. The medium round chamber gives good focus and core that pairs well with the edge and response of the raised baffle.

Available only for alto sax and in 2 sizes. The Spirit alto mouthpieces are CNC machined and offer excellent performance for the price.

Designed together with Pierrick Pedron, one of the most prominent French Jazz players, the new Selmer Paris alto mouthpiece Jazz mouthpiece offers outstanding musical qualities. Machined from a high quality hard rubber bar. A great sound with a full spectrum, very rich in low harmonics though keeping a real “cutting through” power. Well balanced tuning and easy control.

Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy on the Spirit alto mouthpieces. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).

In order to protect the mouthpiece against scratches & marks when testing, we install a tooth patch before shipping. You are responsible for the condition of the mouthpiece while you are testing it. We highly recommend testing with a fabric style ligature to reduce the risk of scratching. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
