Completely Overhauled – 1 Year Warranty!

The Yamaha 72A clarinet was made for only a short period of time in the 80’s and was the successor to the CS & CX series A clarinets. This Yamaha 72A clarinet was barely used and in in excellent overall condition. The only thing that wasnt in excellent condition was the pads! So we went ahead and performed a complete overhaul on the clarinet to bring it back in to excellent condition all around!

Overhaul Pad Choice
The overhaul was performed in our ClarinetRepairs.com ProShop. We opted for traditional double bladder pads in the lower joint and the bridge key, but upgraded the upper joint to use out preferred Master Series pads by Valentino. These pads emulate a cork pad’s performance but without the noise of a cork pad. They give cleaner attack & response throughout the instrument and ensure a longer lasting life with excellent air sealing. This overhaul also includes a 1 year pads & adjustments warranty through our shop. Normal cost of this overhaul is $375.00.

Barrel Options
Further improve this wonderful Yamaha 72A clarinet with a performance barrel. We generally recommend Cocobolo wood barrels on A clarinets as they tend to improve the tonal clarity and response on the larger instrument. Receive special bundle discount pricing as well!

The Kessler Custom by Backun barrel is a special barrel made for Kessler & Sons Music. Using a traditional design with integral “rings” for added tenon support, this barrel gives great response and tone color while maintaining excellent affordability.

Professional Setup
Every clarinet we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is done to ensure that the instrument is properly regulated when it leaves our shop.

Warranty
Because we overhauled this clarinet, we are providing a 1 year pads & adjustments warranty through our shop. This warranty is to the original purchaser only and covers only pads & adjustments (excludes neglect or intentional damage). Customer is responsible for properly maintaining clarinet in order for warranty to be valid. Customer would be responsible for shipping fees on warranty service. Warranty is valid only through Kessler & Sons Music.
