About this Getzen 393S Herald Trumpet – Serial #K70351
This horn was used by the US Military and was sold as part of an auction lot of instruments. As you can see in the photos, it was barely ever used and is in excellent overall condition. We have of course completely serviced and cleaned the instrument in our shop. The serial number places its production in the late 1970’s, but you would not be able to tell by its condition!
There are a few very minor scratches but no true damage or repair in the horn’s history. There is unfortunately one small area inside the bell that had a plating bubble that peeled (see the photos above), but otherwise the horn is in truly excellent shape.
The original case is included, but no mouthpiece or other accessories.
Made in the USA
Getzen Trumpets are made in the USA in Elkhorn, WI.
