
Getzen 300 Series Herald Trumpet – Silver Plated
Excellent Condition!
Getzen 300 Series Trumpets have been used by generations of student & intermediate musicians. While commonly thought of as a “Student” horn, this is simply relative Getzen’s line with the 300 Series being the least expensive model that they produce. However, these horns offer performance on par with most companies intermediate models and a build quality that rivals professional models. So with something as unique and low demand as a Herald Trumpet, it only makes sense that Getzen 300 Series Herald Trumpet becomes a reliable choice for the musician in need of such a specialty horn!
About this Getzen 393S Herald Trumpet – Serial #K70351
This horn was used by the US Military and was sold as part of an auction lot of instruments. As you can see in the photos, it was barely ever used and is in excellent overall condition. We have of course completely serviced and cleaned the instrument in our shop. The serial number places its production in the late 1970’s, but you would not be able to tell by its condition!
There are a few very minor scratches but no true damage or repair in the horn’s history. There is unfortunately one small area inside the bell that had a plating bubble that peeled (see the photos above), but otherwise the horn is in truly excellent shape.
The original case is included, but no mouthpiece or other accessories.
