Vandoren BD6 Black Diamond Clarinet Mouthpiece
1.215 mm Tip | Medium Facing
Vandoren is known worldwide for the performance, quality and value of their clarinet mouthpieces. The new Vandoren Black Diamond Clarinet Mouthpieces features a new internal and external design. These developments offer the musician a full sound, rich in depth and color, especially in the upper register of the clarinet. Originally only available in the BD5 model, the Bb Black Diamond mouthpiece has grown to offer multiple facings and performance options for players. The new Vandoren BD6 facing will give much of the reed friendliness and control of the BD5 but with a larger tip opening more like a B45/B40 series mouthpiece.

Vandoren’s official description: “The natural sound of the clarinet, round and rich timbre. The musician will benefit from the unparalleled ease of playing.”
Dave Kessler’s description: Vandoren launched the BD6 originally in the HD rubber model. It is now also available in the standard rubber. The larger facing is slightly more open than the B40/B45 style facing at a larger 1.215mm tip, but with a medium facing length, will feel very easy to make respond in this larger tip opening.
The Vandoren BD6 will be available in 2 models, the standard pitch and “13 Series”, as well as in the HD variations!

Trial & Return Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day in home trial / return policy by default on the Vandoren Black Diamond Clarinet Mouthpieces. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).
When we ship the mouthpiece, we install a tooth patch on to the mouthpiece for you. This way you can test the mouthpiece with less fear of damage from teeth marks. However, you can still damage the mouthpiece, especially with some ligatures that can scratch mouthpieces. So please make sure to handle it carefully while you are testing it. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
