Vandoren ZZ Tenor Sax Reeds were designed in 2002 in order to produce a jazz reed that is immediately responsive without sacrificing tonal brilliance. Vandoren ZZ reeds combine the medium-thick heart, spine, and rounded tip of the V16 with the flexible palette design of the JAVA, giving the player a rich, colorful sound with quick response.

The unique relationship between the heart and tip provides extraordinary color, great response and a durable life.

Vandoren reeds are made in Bormes les Mimosas (Var), France in their facility closest to the Vandoren cane fields. French cane, French design, French sound.
