Vandoren is known worldwide for the performance, quality and value of their clarinet mouthpieces. With the new Vandoren Jazz Clarinet mouthpieces, the 5JB & 7JB models, Vandoren has expanded into a whole new offering for players. Designed with larger tip openings and longer facings and favoring a softer reed, the Vandoren Jazz Clarinet mouthpieces provide power, projection and response like nothing else!
Like their reeds, all Vandoren clarinet mouthpiece models are made in France to Vandoren’s time tested designs and workmanship.

Available Models
The Vandoren Jazz Clarinet Mouthpieces are available in 2 facing models:
- 5JB – 1.47 mm Tip (.058″ Tip)
- 7JB – 1.70 mm Tip (.067″ Tip)
While both models are available in either a traditional beak or the Profile 88 beak, we find that MOST players will prefer the feel of the Profile 88 beak allowing them to relax and give the mouthpiece the air support that it wants.

Trial Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on the Vandoren Jazz Clarinet Mouthpieces. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).
In order to protect the mouthpiece against scratches & marks when testing, we install a tooth patch before shipping. You are responsible for the condition of the mouthpiece while you are testing it. We highly recommend testing with a fabric style ligature to reduce the risk of scratching. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
