The Selmer Paris Series III alto saxophones were released in the late 90’s to offer a Selmer that was more focused, responsive and brilliant than previous Selmer models. The end result is a horn that is articulate and precise with impeccable intonation & tonal clarity. Selmer employs a lighter weight “mini-rib” construction that decreases the overall mass along the length of the body tube thus decreasing vibrational resistance. This means that the horn responds the quickest of the Selmer sax series. This is partnered with a tighter bore through the neck. This gives the Serie III sax more tonal brilliance and an impressive altissimo. What’s even better? How about a great condition Used Selmer Paris Series III Alto Sax in great condition?!?!

About this Used Selmer Paris Series III Alto Sax #610,284
This saxophone is a 1 owner horn and was purchased in the early part of the Millennium (serial would date to about 2001 / 2002). This was a local professional player’s horn who passed away several years ago. We are now selling the horn for his wife. He kept the horn well maintained (regularly in our ProShop for annual maintenance) and care for his horn well. The horn has never been damaged and is in wonderful condition.

Walt Johnson Case Included
This pro player kept the horn in a Walt Johnson case that offers superior protection. The case is included with the horn.

This horn has been completely gone through in our Official Selmer Paris ProShop.
