Serial BQ23 – Never Cracked
No name is more synonymous with professional oboes than Loree. They have been and continue to be, the gold standard for oboe performance and quality. However, with this prestige also comes a price that for many, leads them to look for excellent condition used oboes. Here, we have such an oboe: a Used Loree Oboe that is in excellent condition, and has just been completely overhauled in our ProShop. The key plating is in excellent condition and the instrument has never been cracked.

This used Loree oboe is serial number BQ23. This places its manufacture date near the end of the 1960’s. It has never been cracked and has been cared for very well by the previous owners.
Fully Overhauled
This oboe has been completely overhauled in our ProShop. All new cork pads throughout (with leather in the low B/Bb), new corks and felts throughout and a complete oiling and treating of the wood. The original case was destroyed so we have paired it into a good, portable case with excess storage. The oboe is kept humidified in our shop and all humidification tools and wood care accessories (for oiling) are included with the instrument. We also include a 1 year warranty on pads & adjustments through our shop.
Trial & Return Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on in stock instruments. Once you receive it, you have 3 days to play it and evaluate the oboe to make sure that it is the right instrument for you. If you decide that it isn’t, simply notify us within 3 days of your intent to return (phone call is preferable but an email would suffice) and then you send it back for a refund (or exchange if you choose).
There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the oboe is returned in proper condition and within the terms of our policy).
