Scott Cao 750E DaSalo Violin – Artistic Series
All European Tone Woods
Scott Cao has built an amazing reputation among the finest players and teachers throughout the world. Instruments bearing his name are always of the utmost quality in performance and craftsmanship. The Scott Cao 750E DaSalo Violin is the first model in his “Artistic Series” instruments. These instruments are each made in honor of historic violins and violin makers.
As a master luthier himself, Scott works tirelessly in training other luthiers who in turn train the factory workers. This constant push to educate and train the next generation of string luthiers holds true to the world’s finest standards of the trade.
Additional Information
Scott Cao 750E DaSalo
The Scott Cao 750E DaSalo violins are not a replica of a specific violin like many of the other Artistic Series models are. Instead, the Scott Cao 750E DaSalo is made in the styling and patterns indicative of instruments made by Gasparo DaSalo. A specific model of violin was used as the primary influence however, and instrument made in 1580.
The Scott Cao 750E DaSalo incorporates the design elements of the DaSalo instruments:
- Wider Body
- Decorative Purfling
- Deeper Tonality
The Scott Cao 750E DaSalo violins are the most complex sounding violins in the Artistic Series from Cao. For the player who prefers a richer tone from their violin, the Scott Cao 750E DaSalo is the instrument to consider.
Scott Cao Artistic Series
The Scott Cao Artistic Series violins are made in tribute to historic violins of the past. Seeking to provide you with an instrument with a hint of the performance character, both acoustically and aesthetically, the Artistic Series instruments replicate the dimmensions of these famous violins as well as the unique cosmetic elements.

Case & Bow
The Scott Cao 750E violin is sold most commonly as an instrument only, but we often run special promotions (like a free Carbon Fiber Bow). We also offer great “bundle discounts” to help give you a bow & case package at a reduced cost that meets your needs. Our best selling “bundle” upgrade is the CodaBow Diamond NX.
Desert Aged
Being based in the desert of Las Vegas, we have a very unique ability to let instruments “age”. As string instruments age and the wood dries, the instrument will improve over that time. However, as these instruments dry in our desert climate of Las Vegas, this process of aging occurs much faster than most areas of the country.
This aging gives you an instrument that is more vibrant, responsive and more stable as a result of this aging!
We do make sure to monitor our instruments and make any necessary adjustments that are needed as a result of this process prior to shipping to you.
In Home Trial
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy on the Scott Cao 750E DaSalo Violin outfit. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition). We know that you need to be able to test the instrument to make sure that it is the right instrument for you. We carefully package the instrument so that it arrives safely to you.
Please note that when we ship the instrument, we wrap the bridge and the tailpiece in tissue paper so that IF the bridge were to fall down in shipping, no damage occurs to the instrument. We do not ship the violin with strings under full tension but there is enough tension to keep everything in place while in transit. If you do decide to return the violin, please make sure to follow the same guidelines so that the instrument is returned in the same condition it was sent out.
Please read our terms & conditions (link at the bottom of the page) for full details on this policy.
