Conn 88HCL Christian Lindberg Trombones
CL2000 Rotor System
The Conn 88HCL trombone is known worldwide as one the most historic and highest regarded symphonic trombone on the market. Featuring a wide array of bell, rotor, wrap & slide options, the Conn 88HCL is one of the most favored professional symphonic trombones around with excellent projection, response & tonal color.
CL2000 Rotor System
The crux of the Conn 88HCL is the CL2000 Rotor System that was designed in collaboration with artist Christian Lindberg. Rather than using the conical design of other makers, the CL2000 enlarges the concept of a traditional rotor to decrease the resistance on the Bb side of the horn. This rotor system also activates with a much shorter throw than traditional or axial rotor systems. This shorter travel does not allow for the same air compression buildup of other rotors thus eliminating the “pop” or “flop” found with other rotors. CL2000 – “No Pop, No Flop!”
“Conn 88HCL Trombones are completely inspected in our ProShop to guarantee their quality. Any horn that does not meet our standards is sent back to Conn.”
Dave Kessler
