Carol Brass is a newer manufacturing name to trumpet players, but their reputation is building fast and for good reason! They offer some of the most exceptional quality workmanship, amazing valves, unique designs and phenomenal value! The Carol Brass 5280L model is one of the finest examples of these characteristics.

Double Wall Leadpipe
The leadpipe of a professional trumpet is one of the most acoustically important pieces of the instrument. Any change made here has drastic impacts on the performance of the trumpet as a whole but especially to the response and resonance of the trumpet. Obviously, the design of the leadpipe makes a huge difference, but so does the material. The Carol Brass 5280L offers a unique double-wall leadpipe with a thin gauge nickel-silver for the outer tube. The combination creates a richer overall tone to the horn while still maintaining excellent response throughout the whole range.

Bell
The bell is a larger 5.079″ diameter made from a Goldbrass alloy and features a soldered bead. This combination gives great tonal depth while providing projection, subtlety and response. On the “SLB” configuration (as photographed), the bell is first satin finished before the horn is lacquered for a truly stunning look!
