The Buffet Tosca was designed in 2004 and is considered to provide the perfection of the R13 bore family. Designed with a new barrel and bell to incorporate the richer tone of the vintage Buffet’s and the precision and intonation of the modern Buffet’s, the Tosca meets the standards of the world’s finest clarinetists. With exclusive key designs and a unique alternate low F key vent, the Tosca is for most, the perfect Buffet.

The Buffet Tosca, like the R13, can be further customized to meet the specific needs of the player. Using different barrels and/or bells, a player can transform the Buffet Tosca into their perfect, custom clarinet!

Every Buffet Tosca clarinet we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is because the setup on the Buffet Tosca clarinet is of the utmost importance! Sometimes, a clarinet (regardless of who the manufacturer or the price point is) comes in needing 20 minutes of adjustments and then the very next one can require 2 hours!
