1976 Selmer Mark VI Soprano Sax
Showroom Condition – All Original

The Selmer Mark VI Soprano Sax was part of the most iconic line of saxophones ever made, the Selmer Mark VI lineup. The Mark VI soprano sax had a longer production run than the altos & tenors as Selmer did not replace the Mark VI soprano with a Mark VII. These horns give a powerful core and great response. However, finding one in good condition is difficult. Many times, these horns are in rough shape and commonly have slightly bent body tubes.

Serial 249,917
This particular Mark VI Soprano Sax is serial number 249,917 and is in what we would call “showroom” condition. This horn looks basically like a brand new sax! There is one small scuff spot on the tip of the octave key, but other than that, the horn is mint. It was used very little and taken impeccable care of. The original pearls are sharp and well defined. The original case is in perfect shape and includes a Selmer S80 D mouthpiece with cap and lig.

ProShop Serviced
This Mark VI Soprano Sax has been completely serviced in our Official Selmer Paris ProShop. The pads are original but are in great condition. So we have regulated it and will include a 90 day pads & adjustments warranty. If you would like to have the horn overhauled, that can be arranged as well, though we do not feel that it “needs” it.

Once you receive it, you then have 3 days to evaluate the saxophone in the comfort of your own home to make sure that it is the perfect sax for you. To be blunt, if you get this horn, you are not going to send it back. However, if you are not 100% satisfied with it, you simply let us know within the 3 days and then send it back for a full refund under the terms of our policy (click here for the full policy).
