This alto was used by a professional doubling musician here in Las Vegas for many years. We are selling the whole lot of instruments for his family. This Armstrong Alto Flute, like most alto flutes of doubling musicians, came to us still with original pads – from when it was made in 1973! So we have gone through and completely overhauled this instrument to bring it back into perfect playing condition – 50 years later! There has never been any damage to the instrument and it is in excellent condition.

Overhaul & Warranty
We performed the full overhaul (new pads, corks, felts, cleaning, polishing) in our shop right before listing this on our website. All work was overseen by Chuck Kessler (certified Straubinger tech) with traditional woven felt pads. We are including a 1 year “shop warranty” with this Armstrong Alto Flute. This would cover pads & adjustments, through our shop, for 1 year from the date of purchase.
