In celebration of 140 Years, Selmer Paris is releasing a new, 2025 Limited Edition Selmer Supreme Alto Sax. Based on the revolutionary Selmer Supreme alto launched in 2021, the 140th Anniversary model is a truly unique, bold look that we have never seen on a Selmer before! Limited in production to 500 total saxophones, this is a smaller release than the last Limited Edition Modele 2022 model.

Selmer 2025 Limited Edition Alto Sax
The 140th Anniversary model will be limited to 500 alto saxes worldwide (300 tenors), with only 55 altos (and 40 tenors) made for the US & Canada Market. In design, the 140th Anniversary model is the same overall as the Supreme but with a truly stunning and unique look:

About the Supreme
In 2021, Selmer Paris released their aptly named Supreme alto sax. The Selmer Paris Supreme alto sax embodies the culmination of a century of expertise, combined with a perfectly mastered manufacturing process that lives up to the ambitions of the Selmer Paris name. The Supreme is not a re-hash of another model or a slight modification on existing design… instead this is a complete redesign that has been an ongoing process for the past 8 years. The Selmer Supreme represents a purely new Selmer that is designed to be the best ever!

The Selmer Supreme is not defined by a single musical genre of sound. Instead, it combines the performance characteristics that players come to want from the Selmer name in to one ultimate instrument. With a balanced tone, impeccable response, improved intonation and ergonomics, the Supreme Alto Sax will impress any level of performer.

Most dealers are lucky to even get 1 if any at all… especially with low production numbers like this, with only 55 total being offered in the USA. We were originally allotted a total of 3, but we were able to sweet talk our way in to a total of 5 in the end.

Professional Setup
Every horn we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is because the setup on the horn is of the utmost importance! Sometimes, a saxophone (regardless of who the manufacturer or the price point is) comes in needing 20 minutes of adjustments and then the very next one can require 2 hours! So if you were to get 5 of the same model right out of the box, they will all play different which leads people to believe that they are “good” or “bad” saxes… but the reality is that the one that was the best out of the 5 was likely the one that needed the least amount of work and on the flip side, the “bad” sax was the one that needed 2 hours worth of adjustments!

Once the same 5 saxophones are properly regulated and adjusted to perfection, they become near identical saxophones that even the pickiest of players would be challenged to pick a true “favorite” horn. However, since most stores do not or even can not perform this setup, the player never knows this and is simply relying on the luck of the draw. This is why we perform our setup (in our www.SaxophoneRepairs.com ProShop) on them before delivering your new sax to you. You trust us with your purchase and we want to make sure that you are rewarded by giving you your ideal saxophone setup flawlessly!
