The Pearl 765 Quantz Flute is a well known, solid silver flute featuring a Solid Silver Headjoint and Body. However, we like to provide our customers with MORE than just a good flute, we want to provide them a GREAT flute! So we worked with Pearl to provide customers the 765 Quantz but with the customer’s choice of 2 different professional headjoint upgrades: Forza or Brezza. Since the headjoint is the absolute most important part of the flute’s performance, this upgrade makes a radical improvement to the performance of your flute!

Pearl 765 Headjoint Options
The standard 765 flute headjoint is known as the “Largo” cut, and when you buy a Pearl 765 from almost all other retailers, this is the cut you would receive. While it is a decent intermediate headjoint, the Largo does not provide the more advanced performance characteristics of many flutes being offered today. In order to receive a better headjoint at most music stores, you have to upgrade to the more expensive Pearl 795 Elegante model with the Forza headjoint. So we negotiated with Pearl to allow us to place the Forza headjoint on to the Pearl 765 Quantz model at NO Extra Charge! This gives you Elegante model performance at the Quantz model price. On top of that, we worked to provide the additional option of the Brezza headjoint as well.

Here is Dave Kessler’s description of all 3 headjoint cuts:

• Largo – Provides a warm tone that is easy to control. However, it lacks the power/response found on many other flutes available today. As a result, we do not stock the Largo headjoint but can order it. We simply find both the Forza and Brezza headjoints to provide better performance options for our customers.
• Forza – This is a powerful, super responsive headjoint. This is the stock headjoint on the upgraded “Dolce” model. By placing it on the Quantz, you receive the upgraded performance without the additional cost. This headjoint does sit on the brighter side of the tonal spectrum but provides a large tonal presence, immediate attack and plenty of projection.
• Brezza – This headjoint takes much of the response of the Forza and pairs it with the richer, more centered tone of the Largo. The Brezza is a richer, warmer tone with excellent response and tonal core.
