The Mouthpiece is THE MOST important piece of equipment for the saxophone player. Our Kessler Custom line of mouthpieces are designed for specific styles of performance and musicality. Our jazz bari sax mouthpiece is designed to be powerful, responsive, rich, and most importantly, affordable! Completely hand-faced by Dave Kessler to ensure consistency and to offer you a mouthpiece that will exceed your expectations!
We do not base our facing off any specific mouthpiece but rather use the inspiration of many vintage mouthpieces of the past. Equipped with a .110 ” tip opening, and a direct air flow design chamber, this mouthpiece plays and responds like a great tenor saxophone mouthpiece with easy sub-toning and excellent response in all registers. It uses a dual baffle design with a good rollover baffle that transitions to a slightly raised step baffle that opens up in to the large chamber. This gives our jazz bari sax mouthpiece great power and response while keeping a rich tone.

Trial & Return Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on our jazz bari sax mouthpiece. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).
When we ship the mouthpiece, we install a blue protective film over the logo to help protect the logo from irreparable scratches while it is being tested. We also install a tooth patch before shipping. This way you can test the mouthpiece with less fear of damage. However, you can still damage the mouthpiece even with these protections, so make sure to handle it carefully while you are testing it. We recommend leaving these items on the mouthpiece during the testing phase and only to remove them after you have made the decision to keep the mouthpiece. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
