Used Holton Farkas H179 Professional French Horn
One Owner Horn Made in 2007 

The Holton Farkas is the most used and well known professional French Horns on the market. With a body made entirely from nickel-silver, the Farkas is an extremely responsive, flexible and powerful horn while still possessing the ability to play at even the softest of dynamic levels. The Farkas has been one of the world’s most popular horns for decades. It maintains a design that makes the horn very responsive and free-blowing with excellent tonal balance. Its traditional large throat bell and all nickel construction give a beautiful, dark sound with rich depth. The Farkas models also feature a reversible change rotor so that you can have them be either an F/Bb or Bb/F configuration. The only thing better than a new Farkas is a great value on a gently Used Holton Farkas Pro French Horn!!

Ultrasonic Serviced
This horn has had a complete Ultrasonic Servicing in our ProShop. This is more than just a cleaning but rather the industry standard for the top type of cleaning possible. This involves complete tear down of the instrument and submerging all of the parts into a 60 gallon ultrasonic machine. This machine uses high frequency ultrasonic waves to resonate the instrument inside of a special cleaning solution, helping to clean every part of the horn to the highest level. These ultrasonic tanks are expensive and so many shops do not have them, but we do! So you can trust that this horn is completely clean and ready to enjoy!

Serial 700752
This horn was made in 2007 & was sold new by our shop. It is a one owner horn and was kept in great overall condition. There is no major damage history to the horn. There is some wear in the clear coat on the inside of the bell throat and on the finger paddles, but otherwise the finish is in tact. There are some minor scratches throughout, but nothing major. This horn is in great condition!
