The Vandoren V16 mouthpiece line is designed for the player who wants that full, rich jazz tone. The V16 Large Chamber Tenor Sax Mouthpiece was inspired by the sound of the early 1940’s vintage jazz tone. The larger chamber is combined with a relaxed baffle to give players a warm tone throughout all registers. Handcrafted in France by one of the most trusted and respected companies in the history of the saxophone, the V16 rubber tenor sax mouthpiece offers exceptional response, tone and projection.

The Vandoren V16 Large Chamber Tenor Sax Mouthpiece is Available in the following tips openings:

  • T6 – .098″ Tip Opening (2.50 mm)
  • T7 – .106″ Tip Opening (2.70 mm)
  • T8.5 – .113+” Tip Opening (2.88 mm)

Trial & Return Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on in stock instruments and mouthpieces. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).

When we ship the mouthpiece, we install a blue protective film over the logo to help protect the logo from irreparable scratches while it is being tested. We also install a tooth patch before shipping. This way you can test the mouthpiece with less fear of damage. However, you can still damage the mouthpiece even with these protections, so make sure to handle it carefully while you are testing it. We recommend leaving these items on the mouthpiece during the testing phase and only to remove them after you have made the decision to keep the mouthpiece. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
