Classical Strings is based in California that specializes in exceptional quality instruments. With their student model violins, they put the same focus and care into the art of crafting a violin as they do with their artist series instruments. The model 075 Violin outfit is proof of this care.

Additional Information

Model 075 Violin Features
The model 075 violin features a fully carved body that is made from woods (Maple & Spruce) that are aged for 4 years. These woods are then fully carved rather than pressed in order to give excellent tonal performance and response. The instrument is then hand-varnished (oil varnish) in order to provide you with a beautiful finish that is not as heavily applied as a sprayed on varnish. This allows for better resonance than the traditional “Student Violin”.

D’Addario Helicore Strings
We have our Classical Strings model 075 violins equipped with D’Addario Helicore (medium tension) strings. We feel that these offer you the perfect balance of tonal sweetness as well as durability. Other string options are available on special order.

Case & Bow
A lightweight oblong case (see photos) is included by default with the model 075 violin. A good student brazilwood bow with natural horse hair & a fully lined frog is also included. Desert Aged
Being based in the desert of Las Vegas, we have a very unique ability to let instruments “age”. As string instruments age and the wood dries, the instrument will improve over that time. However, as these instruments dry in our desert climate of Las Vegas, this process of aging occurs much faster than most areas of the country.

This aging gives you an instrument that is more vibrant, responsive and more stable as a result of this aging!

We do make sure to monitor our instruments and make any necessary adjustments that are needed as a result of this process prior to shipping to you.

In Home Trial
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy on the Classical Strings model 075 Violin outfit. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition). We know that you need to be able to test the instrument to make sure that it is the right instrument for you. We carefully package the instrument so that it arrives safely to you.

Please note that when we ship the instrument, we wrap the bridge and the tailpiece in tissue paper so that IF the bridge were to fall down in shipping, no damage occurs to the instrument. We do not ship the violin with strings under full tension but there is enough tension to keep everything in place while in transit. If you do decide to return the violin, please make sure to follow the same guidelines so that the instrument is returned in the same condition it was sent out.
