Yamaha YTR-2335 Student Trumpet

The Yamaha YTR-2335 student trumpet offers high quality pro-style models for a student trumpet price. It features many of the qualities of our top-of-the-line models, like medium weight tubing, pro bore and bell size for increased tonal core and a comfortable, efficient response. In addition, it includes a thumb-hook on the 1st valve slide for subtle adjustments and a tuning slide brace for richer sound.

The YTR-2335 was made in Japan.

Why is it on closeout?
Kessler & Sons Music is not a Yamaha dealer. This trumpet was purchased new by us through another Yamaha dealer in the country. We bought them solely for the purpose of having a student Yamaha trumpet on hand for customers to compare against other similar products that we carried (King, Bach, Conn, Getzen). This horn has only been used for in store demonstration and is still in perfectly new condition. However, as we did not purchase it direct from Yamaha, we cannot officially call it a “New” horn as we were the original purchaser.

So we are using the phrase “Mint Condition Used” to describe this horn. The horn is truly perfect. Photos on this page are of the actual trumpet being offered for sale. Serial Number: 568830.

Honed Pistons
The precise fit between valve casings and pistons after honing means no air leakage.

Pressure-Formed Tubing
Perfectly rounded tubing results in less turbulence and a smoother air flow, thus allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance.

Laser-fused Pluzuma Welded Bell
A high-energy laser fuses the brass together for a virtually seamless bell which allows continuous even vibrations.

First Valve Slide Thumbhook
Assists in intonation.
