UPS Christmas 2025 Shipping Information

For orders, our “Standard Shipping” option (default on orders) is either going to be UPS Ground or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery on instruments and USPS Retail Ground/First Class Mail on accessories.

PLEASE NOTE – We do need at least 24 hours to process and setup your order before shipment. If you are in a crunch, please CALL US before you order so we can advise on what we CAN do for you.

During Christmas, UPS and all shipping companies are very busy and as a result, change some of their policies during the Christmas shipping season. Here are a few items & dates to note when planning shipping for your musical needs!

Note – UPS Suspends ALL “Money Back Guarantees” through this season, regardless of circumstances. 

Friday December 19, 2025

This is the Last Day to ship UPS 3rd Day Select for delivery before Christmas (delivery on Wednesday, December 24th).

Monday December 22, 2025

UPS 3rd Day will NOT guarantee before Christmas but instead have a scheduled delivery date of Friday, December 26th.
UPS 2nd Day Air Important Information:
UPS 2nd Day Air will not have a 2 Day Money Back Guarantee. UPS 2nd Day Air packages shipped out Monday December 22nd should arrive by Wednesday December 24th.

Tuesday December 23, 2025

This is the Last Day to ship normal UPS Next Day Air for delivery before Christmas (delivery on Wednesday, December 24th). UPS Next Day Air will not have a Money Back Guarantee.

Special Notes on UPS Shipping during the Christmas Season
During the UPS Holiday Season, UPS adds some extra caveats to shipments. Here are the most pertinent:

    • There is NO UPS Service on Wednesday, December 25th
    • Some UPS Ground packages that are a normal delivery of 3 or more days, an extra day in transit might be added.
    • UPS Ground shipments do not carry a guaranteed delivery date during this season.
    • UPS Air Packages with a promised delivery time will have an additional 90 minute extension on their normal delivery guarantees. For example, a package sent Next Day Air that would normally have a 10:30 am guarantee, will be extended to a Noon guarantee.

Kessler & Sons Music will only ship packages with the following options:

    • Direct Signature Required
    • Fully Insured
    • On First Time Customer Orders, We will ONLY ship to an address that is on file with the credit card company (or “Confirmed Address” with PayPal paid orders).
    • Any requests for Air shipments will require customer ID verification before processing
    • Any requests for No Signature will require customer ID verification before processing

There are no exceptions to these rules.

Ground Shipping Times
Note – UPS Ground Packages in the 3 Day or more zones will likely have an additional transit day added.

Please note that UPS delivery days are Monday-Friday.
Do not use Saturday or Sunday in your delivery estimates as “days in transit”.
