Leblanc has always made wonderful, high quality instruments. Throughout their history, they have produced instruments played by some of the best players on the biggest performance stages. This vintage Leblanc wood bass clarinet is no exception. Built in France, this instrument gives a wonderfully rich, big tone that is easy to play throughout the registers.

About this Vintage Leblanc Wood Bass Clarinet
This particular vintage Leblanc wood bass clarinet is serial 965… which unfortunately doesn’t help identify it much as Leblanc was known to use the same serial number throughout their model history. While this doesn’t help to identify it, we can obviously confirm the vintage nature of the instrument. We have completely gone through the instrument in our ProShop to ensure that it is setup properly.

How Does It Play?
This is the real question in the end. The answer is simple… great. This is one of 2 vintage bass clarinets that we received from a player. He had this vintage Leblanc bass clarinet as well as a 1953 Selmer Paris bass clarinet. Of these 2 wonderful instruments, he preferred the Leblanc and played on it in the local Symphony. It has a great sound and wonderful playability that will provide continued excellence to its future owner!
