Vandoren is known worldwide for the performance, quality and value of their clarinet mouthpieces. The new Vandoren Black Diamond Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece features a new internal and external design. These developments offer the musician a full sound, rich in depth and color, especially in the upper register of the bass clarinet. It was developed to assist clarinet players play bass clarinet with an embouchure closer to that of a Bb clarinet.

One facing available: BD5 – 1.87 mm tip with Medium Facing Length.

The perfect balance between a dark, rich, yet compact sound. Like their reeds, all Vandoren clarinet mouthpiece models are made in France to Vandoren’s time tested designs and workmanship.

Trial & Return Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy by default on the Vandoren Black Diamond Bass Clarinet Mouthpieces. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).

In order to protect the mouthpiece against scratches & marks when testing, we install a tooth patch before shipping. You are responsible for the condition of the mouthpiece while you are testing it. We highly recommend testing with a fabric style ligature to reduce the risk of scratching. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
