About this Used Eastman 52nd Street Tenor
This horn was made approximately in 2018. Recently, the player here in town had to part ways with it for personal reasons unrelated to the performance of the horn. The horn has been regularly serviced in our shop for the past several years and is in great physical condition. This 1st Gen model plays great but the case was toast. So we have put it in a New GL Cases contoured case that fits it nice and tight. We are also including a 1 year “shop warranty” covering pads & adjustments since we are the ones who have performed the routine maintenance on this sax for the last few years.

1st Gen vs 2nd Gen
This is the original 1st Generation model 52nd Street. These were made in Taiwan. The current 2nd Gen model is made in China and while the quality is stellar on those, many people prefer the Taiwanese made models for one reason or another. The 1st Gen models also had the double arms on the bell keys and the adjustable palm key risers in the left hand. While these are cool features, Eastman did not carry them in to the 2nd Gen models – but this one has them!
