Kessler Custom Deluxe Alto Sax
Black Nickel Body with Deluxe Hand Engraving!
Deluxe Alto
Based on our Standard Series saxophones, all Deluxe alto sax features the same advanced bore design and wonderfully strong brass that we use on our professional models. They all feature fully ribbed body construction for a richer, more complex tone. These saxophones posses a great focused and rich tone with great response and intonation! Deluxe Series saxophones are cosmetically enhanced with elaborate hand engraving throughout the whole horn. This engraving is not a laser etched or machine engraved pattern. With our Deluxe series alto, the engraving is done entirely by hand with the alto and tenors taking roughly 4-5 hours to perform the engraving. Our Deluxe alto sax is also the only saxophones in our line available in the popular black nickel plated finish. Finished with Black Pearl finger touches, these saxophones’ beauty is only matched by their performance.

Why buy a Kessler Custom Deluxe Alto Sax?
Our Kessler Custom saxophones are the epitome of our philosophy of offering musicians with the highest quality gear at a more affordable price. By dealing directly with our factory rather than dealing with distributors, we are able to keep strict control over the quality of our saxophones and their design, as well as eliminate the typical middle-man markup that is associated with many saxophones on the market today. We sell our saxophones directly to customers so that they are getting the best value.
Every Kessler Custom saxophone goes through our Official Selmer Paris Pro Shop prior to being delivered to the customer to guarantee perfect playability and includes a 1 year warranty covering defects in workmanship & materials as well as pads & adjustments!
Every horn we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is because the setup on the horn is of the utmost importance! Sometimes, a saxophone (regardless of who the manufacturer or the price point is) comes in needing 20 minutes of adjustments and then the very next one can require 2 hours! So if you were to get 5 of the same model right out of the box, they will all play different which leads people to believe that they are “good” or “bad” saxes… but the reality is that the one that was the best out of the 5 was likely the one that needed the least amount of work and on the flip side, the “bad” sax was the one that needed 2 hours worth of adjustments!
Once the same 5 saxophones are properly regulated and adjusted to perfection, they become near identical saxophones that even the pickiest of players would be challenged to pick a true “favorite” horn. However, since most stores do not or even can not perform this setup, the player never knows this and is simply relying on the luck of the draw. This is why we perform our setup (in our www.SaxophoneRepairs.com ProShop) on them before delivering your new sax to you. You trust us with your purchase and we want to make sure that you are rewarded by giving you your ideal saxophone setup flawlessly!

This was my step up horn and it is still a great horn. I’ve had it almost 5 years now and it still plays perfectly. The sound matches the look and both help you stand out from the others.

After I got the Custom Deluxe tenor, I was sold that the alto would be a great instrument as well. I was not disappointed. This is a great sax and at a great price. It sounds great and looks the part as well. I highly recommend it.

I have had the chance over the years to play Selmer Paris, Yamaha, Yanagisawa, Antigua Winds and Keilwerth Professional Models. In comparison to ease of play, sound and price this Kessler and Sons Deluxe Alto places in the ranks with these well known main stream Altos. It says it is more an intermediate model, however; I see this as a professional model. The care and artistic passion put into the crafting of this Alto is top notch. The action is smooth, the sound is rich and the response is fantastic. Also, I knew I had other purchases to make so I did not purchase both the Alto and Soprano together. It did not matter, Dave took the time to review the orders personally and without request applied the special discount anyway. Besides the horns and instruments sold, this business takes the personal relationships with their customers to heart and look at that over profits.

This was a step up horn for me. It has a great sound throughout the registers and is solidly built. I highly recommend this alto sax and Kessler music as a whole. You will not be disappointed!
