The Jupiter Flugel Horn is a well built, great playing horn. The 850 is out of a discontinued sub-line of Jupiter called the “Carnegie XL” line. Models in this line were essentially the same as their main-line Jupiter brand counterparts with a few minor packaging changes. The 850 in this case is based on the 846RL Jupiter Flugel Horn but done with a traditional Yellow Brass bell rather than the Rose Brass bell of the 846RL (recently rebranded as the 1100R Jupiter Flugel Horn).
