The Selmer Paris Recital clarinet is one of the most unique clarinets on the market. Designed with a thicker wall, the Recital clarinet produces an extremely focused, rich core tone that is not found in other clarinets made today. Made 100% in France.

Heavy Wall Design
The heavy wall design of the Recital clarinet is unique. The concept of a heavy wall tube is found more in high end flutes where the extra mass produces a richer tone. The same is true when employed on the clarinet. However, that extra mass also increases the playing resistance of the clarinet, which in itself is neither bad or good. The instrument requires a more established player but when paired well produces a tonal depth not found anywhere else on the market.
