Buffet E12F Wood Clarinet

Developed through industrial synergy between Buffet’s Research & Development arm in France and their production facilities in France & Germany, the new Buffet E12F utilizes the best of both worlds. Its body is derived from professional models and made in Buffet Crampon’s French workshops; the key assembly and quality control are carried out by their German teams in Markneukirchen.

Ease of play, reliability, and accurate tuning are the main characteristics of this new Buffet Crampon clarinet. The Buffet E12F: setting new standards for young musicians.

Leather Pads
The Buffet E12F clarinet features leather pads throughout. This upgrade is not commonly found with clarinets below the $4,000 price point but it is a great upgrade to this level of clarinet! The leather pads give you longer pad life than traditional pads and help the Buffet E12F to produce a richer, more lush tone that projects easier and response well.

Professional Setup
Every Buffet E12F clarinet we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is because the setup on the Buffet E12F clarinet is of the utmost importance! Sometimes, a clarinet (regardless of who the manufacturer or the price point is) comes in needing 20 minutes of adjustments and then the very next one can require 2 hours!

This is why we perform our setup (in our www.ClarinetRepairs.com ProShop) on your clarinet before delivering it to you. You trust us with your purchase and we want to make sure that you are rewarded by giving you your new Buffet E12F clarinet setup flawlessly!

*Please note: the Buffet E12F uses a slightly different tenon diameter (larger) than most clarinets. This means that the Buffet E12F is not as compatible with other aftermarket barrels unless either the barrel or the clarinet is modified permanently. We can perform this modification on special request.
