Teacher Bio
Drew Dardis is a versatile flutist and dedicated educator based in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. With an international background in flute performance and a specialization in piccolo, he has studied at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions. Originally from Sacramento, Drew discovered his love for the flute in the school band program at age 9, sparking a lifelong journey to understand and share the gift of music. After moving to Baltimore, he earned his Bachelor of Music from the Peabody Conservatory in 2019 under the mentorship of world-renowned flutist Marina Piccinini, where he also became the first student to receive an official Minor in piccolo. From there, he studied abroad in Vienna, Austria, and went on to continue his education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, earning his Master of Music in 2021 under Principal Flutist Katherine Bryan. In Glasgow, he completed orchestral internships with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony, and was awarded First Prize in the esteemed Governor’s Recital Prize Competition.

Since returning to the U.S., Drew has built a colorful career as both a performer and teacher across California, Oregon, and Nevada. He is passionate about storytelling, music theory, and helping students of all levels achieve reliable technique with a nurturing environment. A multi-passionate artist, Drew also enjoys incorporating elements from his training as a circus contortionist into his flute practice, exploring the intersections of breath, movement, and music.
