FedEx Christmas 2025 Shipping Information

For orders, our “Standard Shipping” option (default on orders) is going to be FedEx Ground/Home Delivery on instruments and USPS Retail Ground/First Class Mail on accessories.

PLEASE NOTE – We do need at least 24 hours to process and setup your order before shipment. If you are in a crunch, please CALL US before you order so we can advise on what we CAN do for you.

During Christmas, FedEx and all shipping companies are very busy and as a result, change some of their policies during the Christmas shipping season. Here are a few items & dates to note when planning shipping for your musical needs!

Below are the Last Days to ship via FedEx Ground (business addresses) or Home Delivery (residential addresses) to have an expected (but not guaranteed) delivery before Christmas.

Friday December 19, 2025

This is the Last Day to ship FedEx Express Saver (3 Day) for delivery before Christmas (delivery on Wednesday, December 24th).

Monday December 22, 2025

FedEx FedEx Express Saver (3 Day) will NOT guarantee before Christmas.
FedEx 2 Day Air Important Information:
FedEx 2 Day Air will not have a Money Back Guarantee. FedEx 2 Day Air packages shipped out Friday December 20th should arrive by Wednesday December 24th.

Tuesday December 23, 2025

This is the Last Day to ship normal FedEx Overnight for delivery before Christmas (delivery on Wednesday, December 24th). FedEx Overnight will not have a Money Back Guarantee.

Special Notes on FedEx Shipping during the Christmas Season
During the FedEx Holiday Season, FedEx adds some extra caveats to shipments. Here are the most pertinent:

    • There is NO FedEx Service on Thursday, December 25th
    • Some FedEx Ground packages that are a normal delivery of 3 or more days, an extra day in transit might be added.
    • FedEx Ground shipments do not carry a guaranteed delivery date during this season.
    • FedEx Air Packages with a promised delivery time will have an additional 90 minute extension on their normal delivery guarantees.

Kessler & Sons Music will only ship packages with the following options:

    • Direct Signature Required
    • Fully Insured
    • On First Time Customer Orders, We will ONLY ship to an address that is on file with the credit card company (or “Confirmed Address” with PayPal paid orders).
    • Any requests for Air shipments will require customer ID verification before processing

There are no exceptions to these rules.
