Overhauled Gemeinhardt Student Flute
M2 Model | Fully Overhauled

The Gemeinhardt student flute is one of the most well known student models of all time. The older M2 models are exceptionally well built student instruments with a reputation for reliability. This particular flute was abandoned in our shop by its previous owner. They brought it in for a full overhaul and after it was done, they never came and picked it up! So we are selling this flute for the cost of the overhaul and the case that we put it in.

What’s an Overhaul?
An overhaul is a functional rebuild of the flute. Some would call this a “re-pad”, but it is more than just replacing the pads. While that is a huge part of it, the overhaul also means complete disassembly and cleaning, new corks and felts, check mechanism fit and function, re-lubrication of all mechanism and all new pads. Functionally, this should restore the instrument to the original performance when it was new. That is the job that we have performed on this Gemeinhardt student flute.

We include a 1 year shop warranty with all overhauls. So this flute has that warranty in effect from the date of purchase. This warranty covers pads & adjustments. All work would be performed in our shop.
