Teacher Bio
Dr. Jessica Hawthorne is a versatile musician you can find performing in classical, jazz, chamber, and commercial settings on tenor and alto trombone. She is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and received her Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Frost School of Music.

In South Florida, Jessica has been the Adjunct Professor of Trombone at Florida Atlantic University and frequently performed with the Boca Raton Symphonia, Atlantic Classical Orchestra, Palm Beach Symphony, and Florida Grand Opera. She has had the pleasure of performing with talented musicians such as Adele, Steve Miller, Barry Manilow, and Joseph Alessi. Most recently, she has recorded on the Grammy award-winning album, “American Dreamers: Voices of Hope, Music of Freedom” with the John Daversa Big Band.

Currently located in Las Vegas, Nevada, she works as a professional musician on production shows and teaches as a brass specialist through CCSD.
