Shark Gill Baffle

This design creates an effect on the air column that increases projection and response without the traditional hard resistance and brightness of other baffle designs. The GAIA alto has a traditional sound similar to a vintage Meyer alto mouthpiece. It uses the highest quality hard rubber available, a medium roll-over baffle, precision-sculpted inner sidewalls, and our True Large Chamber for a simply huge and alive vintage sound surpassing all mouthpieces new or vintage in it’s category.

Large chambers have been widely explored in the history of tenor mouthpieces, but very little has been done with alto mouthpieces, until now.
