Selmer Paris Description
Design & acoustic precision – After the release of the alto and soprano mouthpieces, the Concept range for saxophone quickly stood out as the new reference. Henri SELMER Paris extends the Concept family and unveils the Concept Tenor Sax mouthpiece. Combining ease of playability and a rich tone, the Concept Tenor mouthpiece distinguishes itself by its refined design aiming at the comfort of the musician. An acoustic promise enhanced by ergonomics at the service of the musician and its music.
Beak & Facing Design
One of the things that truly makes the Concept unique is its beak design. The beak is a concave design which keeps the mouthpiece slightly thinner in the player’s mouth. This helps the player take a little more of the mouthpiece in to help against pinching. Combined with the longer facing (4mm longer than all other Selmer tenor mouthpieces), this allows the Concept Tenor Sax Mouthpiece to “feel” more open and gives the player more room to put air in to the mouthpiece without feeling constricted. So while the tip opening is not overly large (equivalent to a 5* tip), this mouthpiece gives articulation more in line with a smaller tip but offers far greater tonal capacity and flexibility.

Trial Policy
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy on the Concept Tenor mouthpiece. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition).
In order to protect the mouthpiece against scratches & marks when testing, we install a tooth patch before shipping. You are responsible for the condition of the mouthpiece while you are testing it. We highly recommend testing with a fabric style ligature to reduce the risk of scratching. Mouthpieces that are returned with irreparable scratches/marks might not be accepted for return.
Please read our terms & conditions (link at the bottom of the page) for full details on this policy.
