Diamond Weave Carbon Graphite
CodaBow traces its lineage back to the very first carbon fiber part ever produced, CodaBow is recognized worldwide as the pioneer of the modern bow. The carbon fiber Diamond Weave is a fully connected weave from the button to the tip (whereas many braided bows feature a 2 piece shaft/tip design) providing unparalleled strength, balance and response.
Kevlar Acoustic Core
One of the only true critiques of synthetic bows was the tone. While players universally marveled at the performance characterisitcs of early carbon graphite & carbon fiber synthetic bows, many still preferred the richer tones of true wood bows. With the Diamond series bows, CodaBow introduced advanced acoustic cores. Largely made from Kevlar, the blended acoustic core of the Diamond NX Violin bow helps these bows achieve the tone of fine wood sticks at a much higher price! No longer does a player have to sacrifice performance for sound!
XEBONY Frog
CodaBow, in their goal of providing not only the most amazing performance bows, also seeks to be to most environmentally friendly bows on the market. As a result of the world’s diminishing supply of instrument grade Ebony, CodaBow developed the XEBONY material comprised of organic fibers and resin. Equipped on all Diamond NX Violin Bows, the XEBONY frog gives the feel and function of a fine piece of ebony with an environmentally friendly mindset.
