Pearl Quantz 665 Flute with Rose Gold Plated Forza Headjoint

Upgraded FORZA Headjoint
The Pearl Quantz 665 traditionally comes with the “Largo” headjoint. The “Forza” cut headjoint is normally not found until you upgrade to the more expensive Dolce models. This headjoint provides more power, projection, attack and resonance. So we have worked with Pearl to make sure that all of our Pearl Quantz 665 flutes are equipped with the more advanced Forza headjoint by default. This way you get the performance of the more expensive Dolce flute, but at the price of the Quantz!

About the Rose Gold Plating
First, please note that this Rose Gold Plating is not an option provided by Pearl. This is something that we are doing “after market” on our own. We are using a high end jewelry plating company in California who has experience providing plating for high end saxophone mouthpieces. This plating partner understands the durability requirements for musical instrument plating, which was something that was very important to us. However, we opted to have plating that was over 7 times thicker than saxophone mouthpieces use for exceptional durability. The Rose Gold is an 18k and done using a “Hard Gold” acid-based plating process (much stronger than the traditional cyanide based plating processes used by most platers).
