Amadeus 780 Series Solid Silver Flute by Haynes
Solid Silver Haynes “Classic” Heajdoint
The passion and craftsmanship that has been associated with Wm. S. Haynes flutes since 1888 emanates through every Amadeus flute. The master flutemakers design and work on each flute before it leaves the Boston workshop. With the Amadeus 780 Flute, Haynes brings their professional craft into the price range of students by combining a hand-crafted Solid Silver “Classic” Headjoint with an exceptional Solid Silver but still affordable body.
Headjoint Choice
The Amadeus 780 is available with 2 headjoint options, both of which are made from Sterling Silver. The first is the “Amadeus Cut” which is the cut that was originally designed for the Amadeus flute and used on the 580 Series. The other is the Haynes “Classic” cut, which is the same headjoint paired with the higher end Haynes Q Series flutes. We recommend the Haynes “Classic” headjoint for the Amadeus 680 flute as it is the hands down more professional cut headjoint. In our opinion, the Classic headjoint paired with the Amadeus 780 flute provides players with the logical step in progressing as a player. All of our Amadeus 780 flutes will be automatically setup with the Haynes Classic headjoint by default.
Professional Setup
Your new Amadeus 780 flute, when purchased through Kessler & Sons Music, is fully gone through in our professional flute shop to ensure that it is at its peak performance when you receive it. Furthermore, we provide you with a 1 year “ProShop Warranty” covering pads and adjustments at no additional charge.
Pisoni Lucien Deluxe Pads
Flute Pads can have a phenomenal impact on the performance, feel & response of a flute. Better flutes tend to see a major upgrade in pads over student models. In the case of the Amadeus 780, the Pisoni Lucien Deluxe pad was chosen. This pad features a specially treated pressed felt in order to provide a firm feel to your new Amadeus 780 flute while maintaining the life expectancy of a traditional felt pad.
Even though the Lucien Deluxe is a “felt pad”, it still requires a more skilled technician in order to adjust and regulate your new flute. Kessler & Sons Music has fully trained technicians who have been trained how to properly handle and work on professional flutes and the higher end pads associated with them. The techniques that we use on the highest end professional flute pads are also applied when we work on the Lucien Deluxe pads in your new Amadeus780 flute. As a result, you will find an Amadeus 780 setup in our shop to be more responsive, expressive and more stable than an Amadeus 780 that has not been put through this level of professional setup. This is just another advantage of purchasing through Kessler & Sons Music!
