Guadalupe Bajo Sexto & Bajo Quinto Strings are made solely by hand using traditional techniques that are far too labor intensive and costly for the vast majority of string companies.

For over 20 years, Guadalupe Custom Strings has worked with luthiers, builders, players, and technicians around the world to develop the highest quality strings available. GCS is a very small workshop with less than a handful of string makers.

Quality Materials
Guadalupe strings are made from only the highest quality American made products including Round Core steel. RoundCore steel is the key to making a superior metal string. Hex-Core provides a very inexpensive and accessible string to the mass consumer, however a great deal of the value of the string itself is compromised. Many string companies may claim customized strings, but Guadalupe has been doing that for 20 years. Some may claim to actually wind by hand, unless they are using roundCore, there is no comparison.
