GL Cases is a custom case manufacturer in Taiwan. They are becoming one of the most widely used case makers for the Taiwan sax makers. Their cases are built with exceptional quality, great materials and innovative design concepts. Their GLK Series Alto Sax Case – Combi Model, is a true, high end case made from the best materials and manufacturing standards.

The GLK-A model, known also as the “Combi” model, is the highest end model in the GL Cases lineup. Made from a Polycarbonate rather than traditional ABS plastic. Polycarbonate is almost twice as strong as ABS affording you the most durable protection possible. The Combi Series features several unique ways of customizing your case. The user can add on to the front of the case either a unique removable accessory pocket that gives you the ability to slim down the case if needed or a storage net that allows you to keep slimmer profile items (such as music) without adding to the overall case size. An additional storage pocket can be added to the back of the case.

The case also features a water-resistant covered zipper mechanism to help further protect your case. The case is finished with an Italian leather handle for that extra little touch of elegance. Depending on your configuration, the case weighs between 5-7 lbs without a saxophone in it.

Case Fit
The GL Cases GLK Series Alto Sax Combi Case is designed for any modern alto sax design. By modern, we simply mean that both bell keys are on the right side of the bell. It will not fit older saxophones with bell keys on the left side or models that have one on each side. The molding of the case is designed to be able to fit a full selection of modern alto saxophones.

Colors
The GL Cases GLK Series Alto Sax Combi Case is only available in a graphite/dark silver color and is accented with the brown leather handle. The lower priced GLK-E “Economy” Series is available in blue. This coloring scheme easily identifies which case style is which.
