GL Cases is a custom case manufacturer in Taiwan. They are becoming one of the most widely used case makers for the Taiwan sax makers. Their cases are built with exceptional quality, great materials and innovative design concepts. Their GLK-E Series Alto Sax Case – Economy Model, gives you a true high end case at a more affordable price.

The GLK-E-A model, known also as the “Economy” model is based on it’s more expensive “Combi” Series counterpart but is designed to be more affordable. This affordability is due to the use of ABS for the shell rather than Polycarbonate. The GLK-E Series Alto Sax Case also features a little less customization than the more expensive “Combi” model. The core design though is the same. The case features a unique removable accessory pocket that gives you the ability to slim down the case if needed. This pocket is attached via 4 screw bolts that are applied from the inside fo the pocket. Depending on your configuration, the case weighs between 4.5 – 6 lbs without a saxophone in it.

Case Fit
The GL Cases GLK-E Series Alto Sax Case is designed for any modern alto sax design. By modern, we simply mean that both bell keys are on the right side of the bell. It will not fit older saxophones with bell keys on the left side or models that have one on each side. The molding of the case is designed to be able to fit a full selection of modern alto saxophones.

Colors
Currently, the GL Cases GLK-E Series Alto Sax Case is only available in blue. The more expensive “Combi” model is avaialble in a graphite/silver.
