With every Theo Wanne mouthpiece, we include a free Free “Heavy Copper” reed plate. Theo includes his standard “Alive” reed plate with each mouthpiece. We then asked Theo to build us a custom, heavier reed plate that we could give away with every mouthpiece. This heavy copper plate gives a richer core to the tone of 
the mouthpiece and also helps provide better reed sealing for thinner reeds. Just another example of Kessler & Sons Music going the extra step for our customers!
Blue A.R.T. Material
Theo’s new “Advanced Resonance Technology” (A.R.T.) material is designed to give similar tonal characteristics of hard rubber, but while also providing quicker response as it is lighter in weight. The Blue ART material is a proprietary material that has not been used in an other mouthpiece before.
Theo’s Description:
“Blue A.R.T. is a very special and expensive material which further increases vibration in your horn. Go Blue A.R.T. if you want the maximum performance from a ‘hard rubber’ style mouthpiece! In addition, Blue A.R.T. is safe for those with allergies and more stable. If you are in the sun or extensive heat, hard rubber can oxidise and distort, however Blue A.R.T. will not.”
